Products made from recycled pellets
New recyclable products thanks to single-variety processing
If plastic is processed according to type, it can be recycled two, three, four or more times. Whenever possible, the collected plastics are recycled and processed in Switzerland.
This further processing requires plastics processors who specialize in the individual types of plastic. Our sister company, InnoPlastics AG in Eschlikon TG, for example, specializes in the plastic types
LDPE, HDPE (polyethylene) and PP (polypropylene). However, there are currently no recycling companies in Switzerland that specialize in the fractions PS (polystyrene) and beverage cartons (Tetra Pak). As these fractions can also be recycled at
, we send them to recycling companies in nearby EU countries. In this way, we are able to recycle around 63% of the collected plastics.
LDPE, HDPE and PP are further processed in Switzerland and the EU*

- Injection molding: crates, boxes, pallets tubs, buckets, pots ...
- Pipe extrusion: cable protection, corrugated and electrical pipes ...
- Film extrusion: cover films, construction films, sacks, "bring plastic back" collection bags, carrier bags ...
- Bubble extrusion: canisters, bottles ...

PS are further processed in the EU
The following products are made from polystyrene (PS):
- Injection molding: clothes hangers, office shelves, housings, small containers ...

PET non-beverage bottles are further processed in Switzerland and the EU*
The following products are made from PET non-beverage bottles (such as shampoo or vinegar bottles):

Mixed plastics are thermally recycled as substitute fuel in Switzerland
Each ton of substitute fuel replaces 1.2 - 1.5 tons of hard coal or lignite.
